That earpiece is called a hearing aid. Also, the actress who plays the daughter is Deaf in real life. Her name is Millicent Simmonds. The cast learned sign language to convey the purpose of surviving in the quiet world since ASL doesn't use sounds to communicate. Also, I am Deaf, so this is an excellent representation of a Deaf person in a horror movie.

I'd love to see you do the Sixth Sense (even though I voted for Abigail in the poll and want that one way more) but I think older scary movies like that might do better as part of like an October/Halloween horror watch gimmick.

Since Kill Bill Vol 1 you've only reacted to things I don't or haven't watched! 😭 John Krasinski not only pushed for a deaf actress to play his daughter, he had the entire crew learn sign language, not just the actors. Always thought that was really cool. Also love that the kid dies in the beginning and you're just like Darwinism! 🤷‍♀️

I'm gonna say one thing and I feel a lot will disagree with me but yes it is her fault. If something I did or decision I made caused it then yeah it is my fault. Kids not as dumb as you might wanna think and can bare minimum make that logical leap. You telling them it's not they aren't gonna believe you and will 100% feel like you are lying to their face to spare feelings. You can make the argument that no she didn't put the batteries back in and that wasn't her fault. EDIT: Also I doubt you will find a lot of birth control in this situation. Also also I saw something that basically says this situation would not have been this bad in reality. People would have found out way faster it's sensitivity to sound and we would have things with high pitch sound that are used to disperse riots.

This was a good movie I've seen this movie before it's insane I don't think I could live like that in quietness

Personally I prefer horror (thrillers too) movies reactions (classics and new) Classic are mostly a must watch. I voted for Abigail because Melissa Barrera is in and I support my girl but the movie is really a fun ride (great horror, great comedy, solid cast)
